We had a diverse crowd - parents, educators, business people, and students - all brought together by their commitment to the success of our public school system. The show of support was both humbling and encouraging; I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start my re-election campaign.

Tuesday I filed for reelection, this time for a full three-year seat on Columbia Public Schools’ Board of Education. I’m excited to be getting the campaign underway and am humbled by the support I am already receiving from many of you.
An excellent school system is a key component of Columbia’s vibrant economy and wonderful quality of life. It’s my goal to ensure that Columbia’s children receive a quality education and that our school system continues to spur our economy while contributing to our community’s well-being.
Thank you.
